Job Title: Executive Director, Institutional Securities Group

Department: Algo Management

Division: Institutional Securities Group

Location: Bengaluru/ India

Job Summary:

A strong analytical & technical minded Software Engineering Manager is required for Morgan Stanley's algorithmic trading services group. These systems provide cross asset class FIX based DMA and Order management services. The team is responsible for the full software life cycle of these systems. The asset classes include Cash, Options, Futures and FX.

We work closely with our business partners in sales and trading, risk management, compliance, operations, research, and other technology teams at Morgan Stanley.
Engineering manager will be responsible for system design, requirements gathering, project / product management and working with team to build, test and deploy a small portfolio of application in the algorithmic trading space.

Qualifications:

- Electronic Trading system/Algorithmic Trading system experience.
- Prior experience managing mid-size teams, global teams are a plus
- Working well in matrix organization and managing multiple global stakeholders is a significant plus
- Knowledge and experience on agile software development practices
- Strong technical background in software development
- Experience developing C++ applications using STL/Multi-Threading/Boost for LINUX.
- Scripting Perl/Python.
