Morgan Stanley is looking for an experienced individual who will provide coverage for a suite of regulatory deliverables with a focus on Morgan Stanley International Group (EMEA) Fundamental Review of Trading Book (FRTB) Program.

The role involves working with a variety of business units and control groups across the organization on the execution of FRTB Program and requires both execution and analytical support.

What will you be doing?
  • Own and drive the EMEA FRTB Program plan, ensuring it is up-to-date and milestones are achieved
  • Identify and implement solutions for various work streams within FRTB program, such as Standardized Approach, SA-CVA, Data Quality Controls and related regulatory deliverables
  • Lead the relationship with teams across Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology to ensure delivery of cross-divisional projects as well as interface with EMEA regulatory bodies
  • Participate in International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) FRTB working groups and collect the Firm's feedback for the industry communication with Regulators
  • Produce documentation and presentations, including Steering Committee materials to effectively communicate key FRTB information to senior management and Regulators

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • 9+ years experience in Risk Management including working on cross-functional projects
  • Market risk management background with strong analytical skills and desk coverage experience
  • FRM qualification (preferred)

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and the motivation to develop new risk processes and frameworks
  • Strong attention to detail, project management experience and priorisation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both written and verbally
  • Confidence to take ideas forward and to challenge others, where appropriate, with experience in management by influence, facilitating and gaining consensus

Where will you be working?

The role will reside within Firm Risk Management's Market Risk Department (MRD), which is responsible for the independent identification, analysis, reporting and escalation of all market risk exposures arising from EMEA business activities, acting independently of business management and providing an effective challenge process.

The role sits within the Strategic Change & Data Strategy team and will report directly to the Global Head of Strategic Change & Data Strategy.
