Investment Solutions is a division within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management that covers product, and program development supporting our financial advisors and their clients. Product lines supported include equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, futures, options, structured investments, syndicate, exchange traded funds, mutual funds, 529s, closed end funds, unit investment trusts, alternative investments, insurance and annuities. Programs supported include brokerage as well as client, advisor and firm discretionary managed accounts.

Position Description

We are seeking an Investment Solutions Business Management Lead that will work directly with the Head of Investment Solutions Mumbai and serve as the business management lead for our Institutional Client Coverage (ICC) team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a visible area and gain an in-depth understanding of the Investment Solutions business by interfacing with our businesses and support partners.

The ideal candidate embodies the firm's core values, is team oriented, will collaborate across the organization, and leads with excellence and innovation. The candidate brings knowledge of operational processes and capabilities, has experience in managing large scale initiatives with multiple stakeholders and can ensure the team progresses towards objectives and deliverables. This individual will oversee the division's business management functions in Mumbai and support US-based employees in our Institutional Client Coverage business to assist with their travel and expense needs. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
>Oversee and optimize administrative functions to ensure smooth business operations
>Identity opportunities to improve administrative processes and implement best practices
>Work closely with local department head in planning and executing business strategies
>Coordinate cross-function projects and communications in partnership with US/local leadership team
>Support HR functions, including onboarding, event planning and workplace planning/business continuity planning
>Process and submit expense reports and maintaining detailed records for audit purposes
>Assist in event planning, including leadership staff meetings, speaker series, offsites, town halls, volunteer activities and social engagements

Qualifications
>8+ years of professional experience, preferably in financial services
>Undergraduate degree in business preferred; advanced degree a plus
>Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork and influence skills
>Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask
>Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner
>Proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingencies
>Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
>Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
