We're seeking someone to join our team as a strategic execution-oriented leader to oversee our Data Cataloguing and Data Lifecycle Management initiatives in Human Capital Management (HCM). #LI-DA1

The Workforce Insights Transformation team in the Human Resources division, provides advice and insight to attract, retain, reward, and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. #BPDBA

This is a Vice President level position within the Data Governance Team that will be responsible for driving data governance initiatives across HR and ensuring critical business processes adhere to regulatory and firm-wide governance policies.

In the Human Resources division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This position is within the HR Data and Analytics team, which looks to leverage technology to solve complex business problems, support workforce strategy development, and predict talent risks and opportunities.

What you'll do in the role:
- Lead a cross-functional team responsible for data cataloguing, data lifecycle management and data governance activities.
- Drive the strategic prioritization of data elements and sources across the HR technology landscape to be cataloged.
- Ensure accurate classification of data elements in support of Information Security Policies.
- Identify and partner with Data Owners to drive data quality accountability; manage the annual validation process.
- Establish data lineage to track the flow and transformation of data across platforms.
- Report regularly to senior leadership and firm-wide governance forums on the progress and impact of data cataloging and data lifecycle management initiatives.
- Oversee the annual data lifecycle management initiatives with business and technology stakeholders.

What you'll bring to the role:

- At least six years of experience in risk and controls; working for a multi-national firm and data governance experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
- At least three years of experience managing a team; ability to distill complex topics into actionable strategies for a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with global stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-oriented/execution-focused leadership; proactively anticipating needs and prioritizing action steps.
- An ability to act independently and take direction, as appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Data, PII and sensitive data is a plus.
