We are seeking a Manager - Data Governance Lead with profound consulting and technological understanding to address our clients' pressing challenges in technology, strategy, and transformation from a Data Governance perspective.
This role involves crafting influential strategies and implementing robust technology solutions to enhance data governance and management.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Greece.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Data Governance framework that aligns with organizational goals
- Set up governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure uniform data quality, security, and management across departments
- Address data privacy issues and maintain compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Drive resolution of data management challenges, including aspects related to quality, usage, and accessibility, in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Oversee governance of Data Lakes, ensuring efficient data ingestion, storage, transformation, and analysis
- Bridge business knowledge gaps across departments and enhance data utilization
- Facilitate the integration of diverse data sources, like SAP, time series, transactional data, and SCADA systems
- Govern the application of machine learning models for predictive analytics and forecasting
- Collaborate closely with project managers, analysts, and delivery managers to synchronize data goals with business objectives
- Conduct workshops and consultations to pinpoint department-specific data needs and devise customized governance solutions
- Embed data governance protocols into tools such as Power BI and Databricks for effective visualization, analysis, and reporting
- Ensure the integrity of data architecture on Microsoft Azure through collaboration with IT and data engineering teams
- Promote and coordinate the adoption of Microsoft tools like Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Databricks for data governance
- Define data quality metrics, implement routine audits, and conduct data quality checks to uphold high standards across departments
- Monitor data usage and compliance to maintain organizational standards in data handling

- Solid understanding of Data Governance, Data Architecture, and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Proven expertise with Data Lakes, Power BI, Databricks, and other Data Management tools
- At least 2 years of experience in data governance leadership or a related field
- Knowledge in regulatory compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Skills in collaborating with diverse stakeholders such as project managers, business analysts, and technical teams
- Background in integrating systems such as SAP, time series, transactional data, and SCADA
- Proficiency in using machine learning models for predictive analytics and forecasting
