We're seeking someone to join our team as a Data Analyst in Wealth Management Analytics & Data Organization.
In the Wealth Management division, we help people, businesses and institutions build, preserve, and manage wealth so they can pursue their financial goals. The Analytics & Data (A&D) organization is a key growth area within Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management Division, playing a critical role in the execution of the wider Wealth Management strategy. The use of analytics and data will be a key driver in accelerating growth across all client segments, enabling data-driven decision making and delivering the best client experience.

What you'll do in the role:
- Partner with the Capital Markets group within Investment Solutions organization to support delivering industry-leading investment products, programs and platforms to financial advisors and their client, focused on Equities, Fixed Income and Structured Investments
- Collaborate extensively with other teams and business partners within and outside the department (such as sales, marketing, product owners, data science and data visualization teams) to deliver business solutions and support decision making
- Liaise with Technology partners to understand the data source and suggest enhancements as needed
- Utilize proactive problem-solving and innovative thinking to address challenges
- Build, monitor and review data models and conduct analyses based on specific requirements
- Provide analytics and insight for various business initiatives and projects
- Prepare and deliver presentations to highlight important metrics and showcase achievements
- Create relevant documentation where needed
- Assist in the development of Tableau dashboards and data visualizations for reporting to senior management and business users including Financial Advisors
- Support campaigns data creation for the data products and work on sizing of these campaigns
- Collaborate with the broader team to merge the inputs from the machine learning models into the required analysis
What you'll bring to the role:
- At least 3+ years data analytics experience or equivalent
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Management or Economics or IT or Data Science
- Experienced with Tableau Dashboard development
- Coding skills: SQL/Python/R
- Strong analytical mindset
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and ability to handle, prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for providing help to navigate through complex decisions for clients
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Great presentation skills
- Background in the Financial Services Industry, with an emphasis on wealth management (Good to have)
- Experience working with technology teams closely (Good to have)
- Experience in data modelling technologies, such as Dataiku (Good to have)
