About the Analytics team: 

The Analytics team identifies and executes on revenue drivers, improves business processes, and provides strategic guidance, based on deep analytical understanding of the interface between R&D, Commercial and Operations teams. The analytics team serves as a bridge between our R&D and GTM operations, with broad leeway to identify and engage in projects that maximize the output of our business. These are our focus areas:About the Analytics team: 

Responsibilities: 

  • As a Sr. Data Analyst, work closely with your stakeholders across Product, Commercial & Engineering to break down problems with hard data, make recommendations, and communicate results clearly and concisely.
  • Lead transformational, high-impact projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Investigate issues that intersect revenue and technical areas by liaising with multiple teams and addressing root causes.
  • Design, develop, and automate impactful reports and dashboards, moving from data extraction and creating complex SQL queries for analysis as needed, to delivering actionable insights at scale.
  • Prototype and refine dashboards and analysis tools using data visual platforms like Looker and Tableau.
  • Mentor different teams by having a distinct business context, understanding of product functionality, familiarity with machine learning systems and more.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving in ambiguous situations, providing actionable insights with support from managers and team members.

Requirements: 

  • B.A./B.S. with an analytical focus area
  • 5+ years relevant working experience (Preferably in Consulting, Finance, Ad-Tech)
  • Deep knowledge of SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other tools
  • Experience in translating data into business recommendations and business questions into an analysis framework to executive level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving mindset; ability to bring structure to uncertainty
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Passion for helping teammates grow and building a great company!

Bonus

  • Degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, Finance, Data Science or similar
  • Scripting, Python, ETL development experience
  • Direct experience with Looker/Tableau
  • Industry experience in ad tech or mobile gaming vs non gaming, especially at any DSPs, SSPs or MMPs

 

Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on candidate location and experience. The following are our base salary ranges for multiple levels:

SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $115,000 - $140,000
Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $105,000 - $130,000
All other cities and towns in our approved states: $100,000 - $120,000

Toronto/Vancouver: $95,000 - $105,000 CAD

Areas in Canada outside of Toronto/Vancouver: $85,000 - $95,000 CAD

Liftoff's Compensation Strategy

Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work. In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location. Liftoff provides employees a total compensation package of competitive market salaries, equity, health and wellness stipends, medical benefits associated with your country of residence. The base compensation will vary based on location, experience as well as level.
