You Will: Join Corporate Treasury Liquidity Risk Management team whose responsibilities include:

- Producing, developing, and maintaining the Firm's Internal Liquidity Stress Test (ILST),
- Sizing the liquidity reserve the Firm needs to maintain at the consolidated level and on each material entities,
- Allocating the liquidity reserve to the business units,
-Forecasting liquidity requirements, and
- Assessing the liquidity risk of new products
- Analyze movements in liquidity resources and requirements and present findings to senior management, including at various management committees.
- Work with Liquidity Funding Controllers (LFC) to resolve production issues as they occur.
- Forecast liquidity requirements for non-bank entities as part of the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR)
- Work with various stakeholders across the firm to explain liquidity risk and associated liquidity reserve
- Work with IT, Treasury strats and Controllers to develop, and implement enhanced stress testing methodology, analytical and forecasting tools.
- Monitor Morgan Stanley's liquidity risk and keep various management committees such as Asset Liability Committees (ALCOs), and the Liquidity Risk Compliance Committee (LRCC) informed on the approach taken to manage liquidity risk
- Participate in the assessment of New Product Approval (NPA)
- Support regulatory requests including data analysis, liaising with other groups and presentation of findings
- Ensure that the liquidity stress test models and their corresponding documentation are kept up-to-date through regular recalibrations, ongoing performance monitoring and back testing
- Maintain policies and procedures

You Have
  • Good working knowledge of Corporate Treasury, e.g., capital, liquidity or funding. Previous working experience in these areas beneficial (directly or via consulting/regulatory roles)
  • Experience of managing a team of resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with teams across both local offices and globally
  • Well-developed analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • CFA or equivalent is a plus

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
