Conduct Risk Reporting Analyst

Budapest, Hungary

Conduct Risk Program:

  • The Special Investigation Unit Associate will be part of a team of litigation and compliance professionals collectively responsible for the functioning of the global conduct risk program.
  • Compiling and entering conduct risk data into systems used for tracking conduct risk incidents
  • Reconciliation and reporting (including Business Objects)
  • Coordination with global internal teams including Investigations, Litigation, Technology, and Risk
  • Coordination with external parties such as Outside Counsel and Vendors
  • Reporting to stakeholders including Internal Investigations, Litigation, Litigation Operations and Business Units relating to conduct risk incidents
  • Interaction and coordination within LCD to ensure appropriate execution of the Firm's enterprise-wide conduct risk program

You have:

Experience
• Graduate or post-graduate
• 3+ years of experience
• Solid track record working in a professional environment
• Candidate with legal operations/reference data background preferred

Knowledge
• Proficient in SharePoint administration and MS Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel, e.g., formulas, pivot tables and macros to create and troubleshoot reporting
• Basic understanding of legal documents and legal terminology
• Basic understanding of US Law and procedure
• Should be comfortable with technology and can learn new technical systems and programs.
• Knowledge of other reporting tools, e.g., BOXI an added advantage

Skills and Qualities
• Team player who is very detail-oriented and can successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - ability to effectively correspond with various groups and senior professionals over email and the telephone
• Ability to anticipate and escalate issues as appropriate
• Strong pragmatic and analytical skills - candidate needs to be able to connect the dots and consistently apply sound judgment
• Must be able to maintain a high level of organization under pressure
• Completes daily tasks or projects with little need for direct supervision
• Successfully meets established deadlines - displays efficient time management skills
• Possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently
• Ability to identify and recommend process efficiencies
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across regions and Business Units
• Can effectively handle a fast-paced environment
• Coverage is dependent on business needs, so flexibility is expected
