We are looking for an Investment Banking / Capital Markets Vice President to lead our newly established Service Hub in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing oversight and management of reporting, analytics, and internal process support to coverage and product teams across Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions and Lending globally.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Manage the newly created Investment Banking / Capital Markets Service Hub team to provide a differentiated level of global support to our everyday internal management and client coverage related tasks
  • Provide oversight of reporting and analytics and process support, including:
    • Maintenance of databases leveraged by senior management and deal teams
    • Synthesization of financial and operating information about companies, industries and governments to analyze performance and drive strategic client dialogue
    • Generation of presentations and memoranda for a wider senior audience within the Firm
    • Creation and dissemination of standardized exhibits and financial reporting
  • Organize team's daily tasks and responsibilities and manage workload and shift requirements
  • Liaise with global points of contact across the Investment Banking Division to understand specific business needs and solutions that meet the requirements of the division
  • Cover all aspects of people management including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Assess and plan for the long term development of the group and encourage efficiencies through changes to work processes utilizing automation
  • Ensure quality control and mitigate risk through documented process controls and adherence to escalation matrices
  • View team in a global setting, raise profile of group and align team to global goals of the division.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Experience collaborating with global and regional stakeholders
  • Flexible to work in shifts
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills and are at ease with financial data
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams
  • Agility and ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage expectations and handle high-pressure situations
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
