Team Profile
Corporate Treasury provides corporate finance advisory service to senior management and internal business units. It also optimizes the Firm's liquidity and capital base, manages the Firm's foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, and coordinates relationships with regulators, rating agencies, and creditors.
What will you be doing?
Act as Committee Secretary to the MSEHSE Group Asset Liability Committees (ALCOs) which includes tasks such as:
> Ensuring the Committees meet their objectives including regulatory submission review and challenge;
> Working closely with the MSEHSE Treasurer and CFO to ensure materials are fit for purpose;
> Minute taking and agenda management;
> Provide back-up support for Committee Secretary duties for other ALCOs including minute taking and content support;
> Drive process improvement and lower operational risk by creating, updating and integrating Treasury Process, Risk and Control (PRC) maps and associated procedures for EMEA and Asia Treasury;
> Support New Product Approval (NPA) reviews and governance processes for EMEA and Asia Treasury;
> Help drive Finance Data Warehouse (FDW) adoption across global Treasury by working closely with Finance Shared services (FSS) and Technology;
> Support the project to standardize global ALCO materials;
> Coordinate EMEA and Asia deliverables, including responses to regulatory inquiries, senior management/Board requests, and quarterly functional team compliance attestations;
> Assist with Internal/External Audit and Regulatory examinations;
> Transform data into meaningful metrics and presentations for senior management including townhall and strategy meetings;
> Investigate and help to resolve queries and issues related to Treasury and Capital Planning by partnering with colleagues in the team and across the broader organization;
> Assist with ad hoc tasks for broader Treasury and Capital planning;
> Maintain and develop training materials for Finance University and new joiners; and
> Add value and be productive in our high energy setting.

> Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adapt to your audience;
> Worked with challenging stakeholders and/or deadlines to deliver positive results;
> An interest in learning and developing your knowledge of Treasury and Capital Planning;
> Collaboration and relationship building experience and skills;
> A proactive and curious nature with the determination to see tasks through from beginning to end;
> Well-developed analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity;
> Diversity of thought;
> Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products;
> Motivation to be accountable and deliver positive results;
> A willingness to observe processes and disrupt them in order to prioritize the team's efficiency; and
> Prior experience in financial services a plus (directly or via consulting/regulatory roles).
Where will you be working?
This role is based in 25 Cabot Square, London. The office attendance for this role is typically 3 -5 days per week.
