The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Securitized Products Group is a market leader across a broad range of asset classes including the residential real estate, commercial real estate, transportation and corporate sectors, with expertise in securitization, financing solutions, and other investor products.

This role is part of the Securitized Products Group in Morgan Stanley supporting our team based which is based in New York from India. This is a dynamic role and will suit someone who is enthusiastic and proactive.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Create financial models to project cash flows and run scenario analysis in Excel and other software applications
• Analyze securities backed by pools of Residential and Commercial Mortgages, Corporate, Aircraft, Shipping and Consumer Loans
• Prepare Marketing Materials and internal presentations for sales distribution
• Work with the structuring team to perform risk analysis on lending positions against pools of loans
• Create internal models to assist traders in analyzing and valuing risk for securities backed by loan pools
• Provide support to the Fixed Income, Capital Markets and Investment Banking Divisions by creating internal models and presentations related to financing or disposition opportunities

Skills Required:
• University degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related disciplines from Tier 1 collage is preferred.
• CFA cleared is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong quantitative, analytical and modelling skills
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Detail oriented
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to think creatively and strategically and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Pro-active and results oriented mind-set.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across organizational boundaries.

Coverage for Audit Jobs
• Monday to Friday from 12:00PM to 9:00PM India time with flexibility on standard working hours for time sensitive matters.
• Periodic evening calls with US and EMEA Internal Auditors and auditees.
