Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Associate, QA Automation Engineering in Alpharetta, GA.

Work as Automation Engineer for Private Banking Group work streams focusing on automation, across various Home Loans portfolio. Participate in agile ceremonies and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Develop automation framework and/or develop automated test scripts for testing web, api, and database. Create detailed automation and functional test strategy for new initiatives and responsible for coordinating testing activities and track metrics. Coordinate release activities across fleet-level and support production checkouts. Develop and execute in-sprint automation for component, integration, and end to end testing. Perform End to End testing through CI/CD and DevOps. Participate in Fleet Quality Engineering Chapter Meetings by sharing and providing inputs to achieve fleet's vision/goals. Review automation code to ensure changes are in line with QA Automation best practices.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $151,000 and $151,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Managing Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years of experience as an Automation Engineer, Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or a related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with: Quality Assurance (QA) and QA automation; Core Java; developing test automation for UI using: BDD OR TDD with Cucumber, Selenium, and SQL; developing test automation for API using XML; developing SQL queries using MSSQL or similar tools for testing database or large datasets; integrating acceptance, integration, and end to end automation scripts with Continuous Integration tools including: Jenkins/TeamCity; following DevOps testing practices; GIT; Maven;; ALM; JIRA; Agile Methodologies; automated testing with public Cloud (Azure or AWS); developing proof of concepts/prototypes in the new areas of development.
