As part of the Wealth Management Marketing organization, the Digital Content team leads digital content strategy across the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management business to deliver relevant and impactful content to clients and prospects across the FA-advised, Workplace and Digital Direct (ETRADE from Morgan Stanley or ETRADE) client segments.
The Digital Content team oversees content development and distribution and advises partners on all aspects of content strategy to drive business impact. To be effective, we connect our audience(s) needs to our business priorities and deliver impactful content that inspires our audience to take the intended action. We work across audiences (retail direct, FA-advised), content formats (article, video, audio, infographic, interactive) and promotional channels (web, email, social, paid media) and rely on data-driven insights to deliver the right message to the right audience in the right format at the right time.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Content Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting a Senior Content Strategist, as well as providing ad hoc support for others on the Digital Content Team, with a primary focus on maintaining and updating a library of digital content on our ETRADE (ET) public website.
ET uses content to educate prospects and clients on financial topics with the goal of helping them open an account and invest.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a junior-level operations coordinator with strong project management and editing skills to help manage the workflow involved in maintaining a fresh library of editorial content. The coordinator would:
> Traffic digital content assets through review, approval and publishing processes, utilizing the firm's workflow tools, staying on top of next steps and deadlines.
> Help publish content on etrade.com.
> Maintain editorial, promotion and campaign calendars and trackers.
> Manage creative assets needed to promote content in owned channels like web.
> Interface with internal SEO teams on eligible content to ensure content is optimized for organic search.
> Create and distribute the monthly Digital Content newsletter to internal partners.
> Pull together standard metrics from our Adobe Dashboards on a monthly basis in powerpoint presentations following our template.
> Handle admin-style tasks that are part of the work, such as opening tickets in workflow tools like Workfront, Red Oak, Jira and more.
> Support editors and writers to refresh (or remove) existing content on ET.com that is no longer in compliance and not up to par with best practices. This will require a proficiency editing content about personal finance and investing, light writing skills and an ability to tailor content to fit the ETRADE brand and customer.
> Support ad hoc projects on the Digital Content Team
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
> Solid understanding of Financial Services products and the industry, including Wealth Management businesses, a plus.
> 2-3 years of experience in digital media or working in the content function within world class marketing organizations.
> Strong organizational skills, exceptionally detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
> Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
> Ability to thrive independently in situations with tight deadlines and fast-moving parameters.
> Resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable with new technologies and concepts. Self-motivated, results-oriented and a creative thinker.
> Ability to work with workflow tools like Workfront, Red Oak, Jira and more.
> Familiarity with search engine optimization and digital content marketing best practices.
> Understanding of digital content analytics, consumption behaviors and drivers.
> Ability to work well with colleagues across a diverse range of working groups.
