MSPBNA Home Loans is seeking a talented and motivated associate for the position of Workflow Coordinator (WFC) for Morgan Stanley Home Loans (HL).

The person filling this role is a Data Analysis expert who will partner with the Home Loans (HL) Production and Operations teams to provide reporting and data analysis. This individual will work with a team that supports Home Loans production, tracks data and metrics to mitigate risk, and maintains key data reporting. This individual will also partner with team leads and managers to complete ad hoc data reports and presentation requests to support the team's strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the POC for HL Production and Operations partners within an assigned area of the business unit to establish, standardize and automate daily routines.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on data analytics for their assigned area or region.
  • Partners with HL Reporting Team to obtain raw data or general reports that support production and operations.
  • Participates in data mapping and recommends data distribution cadence within Workflow Coordinator team to create consistency within each region and business unit as a whole.
  • Participates in the quarterly and annual review of combined reporting based on HL strategy ensuring any needed updates are made and published.
  • Reviews and provides quality control analysis of data, reports and reporting feedback.
  • Reviews and provides insight on data trends for assigned business unit.
  • Provides feedback on areas of opportunity to leadership as appropriate.
  • Tracks efficacy and impact of reporting routines.
  • Supports assigned area of the business with ad hoc reports and presentation decks.
  • Supports HL leadership team with streamlined pipeline reporting, data trend analysis, timely turn-around and business insight.
  • Collaborates with all Workflow Coordinator peers to maintain and distribute all daily data workflow within prescribed SLA.
  • Safeguards firm data as well as data integrity. 4-8 years of mortgage experience (Operations, Products or Data Analytics)

Required Skills:
  • 2-4 years professional experience in Financial Services reporting
  • Extensive experience in working with large data sets.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Excellent data visualization and PowerPoint skills with ability to create cohesive presentation decks.
  • Knowledge of SQL,Tableau, PowerBi, VBA will be a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker able to prepare key business data and metrics to be reviewed by business unit leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational skills including ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities while meeting individual and organizational deadlines within a production environment.
  • Highly detail orientated with proven track record of delivering high quality work in fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently and collaboratively on multiple tasks.
  • Ability to problem solve, translate business needs into specific projects to offer solutions.
  • Excellent relationship building capabilities with internal partners to build consensus and drive solutions.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulation that govern consumer lending, including fair lending, privacy, RESPA, and TRID.
