MSPBNA is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Product Management who will help lead projects and processes designed to meet the needs of our clients while complying with regulatory, risk, and operational requirements. The role, which sits within the Morgan Stanley Home Loans Product Group, will report to the Executive Director, Mortgage Products and partner closely with Home Loans management and external partners to manage a pipeline of important initiatives.
Location: NYC or Coppell, TX
The position will be responsible for:
- Providing project management and general project support for key strategic initiatives
- Creating content for procedures, training materials, decks and other content for product related initiatives
- Conducting reconciliation activities for certain mortgage processes
- Managing the Home Loans product team mailbox
- Managing and tracking client and field escalations
- Coordinating product reporting needs with the Reporting / Analytics team, including;
- Creating requirements to update reports as new features and functionality roll out
- Coordinating creation of ad-hoc reports as needed
- Managing product impacts from Compliance and Credit policy and procedure updates
- Creating business requirements and change request documents relating to product management and development projects
- Conducting competitive and market research to support strategic initiatives and product planning
- Creating and delivering presentations to senior management on key program up
Qualifications
- 5 years minimum relevant work experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Focused attention to detail
- Creative problem solving
- Competency in writing business requirements, mapping process flows, testing, execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
- Strong interest and knowledge about mortgages
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
- Wealth Management experience desired

NY - Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
