Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC seeks to fill the position of Assistant Vice President, Business Analyst in New York, NY.

Develop and implement data-driven talking point algorithms for Wealth Management Financial Advisors. Partner with internal stakeholders to expose financial opportunities. Integrate OpenAI GPT APIs into financial advisory platforms. Lead scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, refinements for an efficient development cycle. Streamline business requirements, address blockers and dependencies, and convey timelines to stakeholders. Oversee product roadmap and work with business analysts to enhance, refine and update the backlog. Engage with UI/UX Designers to shape the product UI and develop mock ups for product enhancements. Model complex datasets and to develop dataiku flows and tableau dashboards to gauge usage of internal platforms.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $124000 and $135000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years of experience as an Associate, Analyst, or a related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Agile methodologies; JIRA; traditional Software
Development Cycle methodologies; pivot tables in Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access, Data Analysis and Modelling in DATAIKU; Reporting in Tableau; SAS; IBM Cognos; Cognos Framework Manager; SQL; Python; Predictive Modeling; influencing cross-functional initiatives; and developing partnerships with technology and business stakeholders.
