About the Role

The Legal and Compliance Division are seeking a Project Manager (PM)/ Business Analyst (BA) to be based in the firm's regional headquarters in Hong Kong in the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) department. The NFR department is comprised of Compliance, Operational Risk and Financial Crimes sub-departments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance the regional NFR framework, with a focus on ensuring a consistent approach across Asia Pacific and alignment with global framework policies and procedures

Contribute to regional NFR initiatives, e.g. metrics, risk assessments, process changes

Act as a representative for Asia Pacific attending relevant working groups and forums to assist with analysis and discussions on global policy changes, initiatives and requirements

Work on ad-hoc special projects at a Firmwide / Divisional level coordinating NFR resources and responses, as required

Actively plan, shape and drive initiatives

Clearly identify deliverables and drive progress to ensure actions remain on track and completed on schedule

Proactively carry out analysis to develop strawman proposals to drive engagement and progress

Actively partner and engage with key stakeholders across various business functions and NFR country and coverage teams

Prepare / present management reporting decks for presentation at regional governance forums and steering committees

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

University degree with at least 8+ years of relevant work experience preferably within the financial services sector or supporting industry

Experience and familiarity with Compliance or Operational Risk frameworks, controls and processes with good understanding of compliance, regulatory and non-financial risks

Previous experience in implementing regulatory initiatives / experience working in regulatory environment

MS-PowerPoint, MS Excel, and general MS-Office skills essential

Hands-on project management experience and solid understanding of the project lifecycle

Organized and efficient, with a strong sense of ownership and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands and changing priorities

Strong analytical thinker with ability to problem solve and communicate issues, proposals and complex situations in written and spoken form, to a range of audiences

Ability to deliver high-quality output, with a focus on detail, accuracy and completeness

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage and influence people at all levels
