Summary

The Financial Data Warehouse Lead to drive and support our data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial data management, data engineering, and a passion for optimizing data processes. You will lead the development and maintenance of our financial data warehouse, ensuring that it supports analytical and reporting needs across the organization

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the financial data warehouse using firm technologies (e.g. DataBricks, Snowflake).
  • Collaborate with business to gather requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Optimize ETL processes for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
  • Bank experience is a plus
  • Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security within the data warehouse.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and workflows.
  • Train and mentor team members on firm's database technologies and data warehousing best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data technologies, particularly related to financial analytics.

Required Qualifications
  • Subject Matter Expertise in financial data processing
  • 10+ years with IT Financial systems (ERP, data warehouses, reporting)
  • 10+ years experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g. SQL Server, DataBricks) with integrations with external applications and platforms
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field
  • Preferred Master's degree
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling including ETL processes
  • Experience in financial reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik)

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience working with medium to large banking firms
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data storage solutions
  • Experience with APIs developed with programming languages (e.g. Java, Scala, Python)

The expected base salary is approximately $105,000 - $190,000 Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
