We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Coordinator to join our team. The VDC Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all virtual design and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Navisworks, BIM 360 and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working for General Contractors as a VDC/BIM Coordinator.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all virtual design and construction activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and enforce VDC standards, protocols, and best practices across project teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of virtual models and project plans.
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and organization of virtual models, conducting regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize clash detection software to identify and resolve conflicts between different building systems and disciplines in virtual models.
- Develop and maintain 4D (time) and 5D (cost) simulations to visualize construction sequences and evaluate project costs throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinate the integration of virtual models and construction schedules to optimize construction sequencing, logistics, and coordination.
- Provide training and support to project teams on VDC tools, processes, and workflows to ensure effective utilization and adoption.
- Identify potential risks and challenges related to VDC implementation and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Act as a liaison between the project team and the client, providing updates on VDC progress, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of VDC activities, including models, reports, and meeting minutes, and prepare regular progress reports for project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client requirements related to VDC processes and deliverables.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in VDC and construction management, and explore opportunities for innovation and optimization.
- Exposure to ACC CDE (Docs/Issues).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or thorough coordination experience.
- Proven experience in virtual design and construction, with a strong understanding of VDC processes, tools, and technologies.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360), clash detection software, and construction scheduling software.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in coordinating VDC activities on construction projects is preferred.
The salary range is $90k- $115k. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates located anywhere within the continental United States. Please note, this role does not offer sponsorship now or in the future.
