As an Accessory Technical Program Manager at Reality Labs, you will lead multidisciplinary accessory programs through the product development process (PDP) that drive an immersive experience with our industry-leading MR/AR platforms. You will work closely with internal and external development partners to bring products to market. You will establish product requirements with cross functional teams, manage program schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. We look for Technical Program Managers who have a solid technical foundation and are motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.

Technical Program Manager - Reality Labs Accessories Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Hardware and Software teams (composed of Product, Design, Soft goods, Mechanical, Electrical, and Software/Firmware engineers) developing accessory products from concept to production
  • Drive cross-functional program deliverables by working with other development teams including Operations, Marketing, Sales, and User research
  • Own the program schedule from pre-concept through launch, managing key program milestones and deliverables
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies
  • Manage communication within and between internal engineering and external vendor teams, distill complex topics into clear communications to program stakeholders
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the program
  • Proactively identify and drive resolution of critical program risks/issues
  • Establish best practices along with key performance indicators to ensure success
  • Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review
  • Ensure resource needs are established and fulfilled
  • Up to 20% travel
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering field or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years experience working as a technical program manager on consumer electronics
  • Experience with managing mechanical, electrical, and firmware processes and deliverables
  • Proven track record of success in communication, planning, and attention-to-detail
  • Familiarity with program and issue tracking and version control software
  • Demonstrated experience in operating autonomously across multiple teams and projects

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
