Research Engineer, Computer Vision - Monetization Generative AI

Meta Monetization GenAI's mission is to lead the charge in applied generative AI technology and build products that will help businesses become more productive and efficient. Our goal is to enable fully automated and data-driven creative/ad format optimization through GenAI.The team is responsible for building SoTA GenAI technology to generate best ads creatives and improve creative ranking for advertisers. We build a variety of GenAI models such as text-to-image/video generative model, image to image generative model, and image understanding/layout planning models.

Research Engineer, Computer Vision - Monetization Generative AI Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop state-of-the-art text-to-image and text-to-video generative models using techniques such as diffusion models, GANs, and transformers to create realistic and high quality visual content.
  • Develop computer vision models for image understanding.
  • Design and develop AI-powered image and video editing models.
  • Apply Sequence Fine-tuning, Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback, and Data-Driven Optimization techniques to improve the performance of GenAI models.
  • Develop and optimize recommendation models for personalized ad targeting and delivery to enhance user engagement, and drive business growth through relevant and effective advertising.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of industry experience in Generative AI, Computer Vision, or related fields.
  • Experience training Computer Vision, Generative AI, or related models (e.g., Pre-training, Post-training).
  • Experience leading large scale technical projects in AI or ML.
  • Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or relevant technical field.
  • First author publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ACL).
  • Experience working on product or product research teams.
  • Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment.

$85.10/hour to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
