Reality Labs Digital Content, Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary accounting contact for first party studios, requires upstream collaboration will business partners to ensure appropriate accounting processes are enabled.
- Go to market lead for accounting, ensuring we support the business with internal roadmap and business goals.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Business Development teams to understand business models, and accurately account for digital products.
- Establish and maintain an accurate, timely and scalable month-end close process for digital content.
- Review revenue contracts to ensure compliance with GAAP (ASC 606) and internal policies.
- Drive process improvements by proactively identifying opportunities and partnering with cross functional process owners including Engineering to build and implement solutions for business growth and scalability.
- Assist in systems testing for any new product launches and other business initiatives.
- Partner closely with internal and external auditors on satisfactory completion of all audit requests, including SOX compliance.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual reporting packages to management.
- Other ad-hoc projects.
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient with ASC 606 and providing accounting guidance.
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as financial reporting and analysis.
- Must possess an effective understanding of the Digital Content industry (gaming, entertainment and other software products).
- Highly collaborative temperament, proven communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in optimizing or redesigning existing processes resulting from business needs.
- 5+ years finance and accounting experience in Digital Content space.
- MBA/CPA preferred.
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Essbase.

$140,000/year to $199,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
