Meta is seeking a highly motivated Communications Manager to create awareness and excitement for Reality Labs and its products. This person will work across an exciting range of products and services in Meta's MR/VR portfolio that are coming together to build the next computing platform.The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about new technology and can convey this through their work. This individual should have a track record of planning and executing announcements, working closely with earned media (reporters and creators), advising and/or executing on social media/community campaigns, and working cross-functionally across product, marketing and partners. In addition to a focus on MR/VR, this person will also work across multiple RL initiatives outside of that scope.

Reality Labs Communications Manager Responsibilities:
- Create strategic plans and campaigns to advance product adoption and company reputation
- Tell stories about our products and their impact on people across varied channels
- Maintain relationships with media and creators
- Support proactive communications work across seasonal/cultural moments, events, and launches - with particular focus on verticals such as gaming, entertainment/media, and fitness/wellness/sports
- Think through integrated marketing communications across all channels, including owned, earned and social
- Help shape the tone for Reality Labs to create messaging and tactics that will resonate with target audiences around the world, including young adults, mainstream/gen pop and developer/tech elite audiences
- Work directly with organizational leadership to shape how they can help advance our campaigns or narratives
- Write content such as social posts, blogs, pitches, and other creative materials that evangelize various announcements and milestones
- Lead press events, prepare spokespeople, and create briefing materials
- Collaborate across multiple functions including engineering, product, marketing, content, and communications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or related field
- 7+ years of experience in gaming, public relations, or related field
- Experience working on MR/VR, gaming, consumer electronics or hardware products
- Experience working with developer communities and elevating success stories from the developer community
- Experience or familiarity with gaming, entertainment/media, or fitness/wellness/sports

$116,000/year to $170,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
