Meta is seeking an experienced Partner Manager who will serve as a critical partner to Government, Politics and Nonprofit (GPN) clients utilizing our commercial products to build community and make the world more open and connected. In this role, you will establish and strengthen key client relationships by providing advertiser education and support. This person will educate partners on their experience using Meta products (organic and advertising), manage cross-functional projects and relationships.
Partner Manager, Government and Social Impact Responsibilities:
- Understand key decision makers and influencers, as well as the client's organizational objectives, establish and maintain actionable relationship maps
- Demonstrate value of Meta technologies as a key driver for impact, inform partners of vertical specific processes and provide best practices and education specific to Government, Politics and Non-profits objectives
- Navigate a complex ecosystem of partners, with new challenges and opportunities arising every day, and thoughtfully facilitate escalations internally
- Manage high-level relationships with diverse group of internal cross-functional teams (social impact, public policy, sales operations, legal, marketing science, policy teams) and ensures the group is delivering on expectations
- Attend/present at events to represent Meta technologies and educate on best practices
- Facilitates internal account operations and partner with concierge service operations team to drive best in class solutions at scale for the vertical, ensures high quality services and grant high quality through ops requests
- Identify relevant industry trends and captures/identifies product and innovation needs based on client/industry feedback
- Equip yourself to have in-depth knowledge about partners, sensitivities, Meta's unique relationship with each partner, and the associated risks
- Management, resolution and monitoring of the support flow from government and policy entities in Spanish and English
- You have productive and trusting relationships with partners and their stakeholders by demonstrating the value of Meta technologies as a key driver for civic engagement
- Contributes to setting team level goals and simplifies the work with clear documentation, timely follow through, and necessary meeting hygiene

- 4+ years experience partnering and managing marketing-focused relationships or government relations.
- 4+ years experience working on digital media, platforms, or managing advertising and organic metrics and industry trends
- Experience working with marketing decision makers in agencies and/ or Government, political and non-profits entities
- Experience managing relationships with cross-functional teams, with experience partnering with executives and leadership level.
- Demonstrated experience communicating/presenting to groups of stakeholders
- Have demonstrated experience partnering with Government, Non-profits or political organizations in the digital space.
- Availability to travel as needed
- Qualified to manage ongoing partner priorities without guidance, using your judgement and problem-solving skills
- Handle hard conversations and have the capability to neutralize pressure, while navigating ambiguity and risks.
- Fluent english
- Experience with digital media platforms, advertising metrics, and industry trends (Direct Response marketing, data and technology solutions, ad-tech, partnerships)
- Performance marketing experience and/or brand advertising experience
- Experience partnering with compliance and legal functions
- Seeks to understand the nuances and diversity of the industry, navigates ambiguity well, has experience on navigating situations that risk situations can occur and has ability on communicating efficiently.
- Relevant understanding of the overall Government and Political verticals and geopolitical climate for Mexico and North Cone
- BA/BS degree in a technical or marketing field or equivalent work experience or
- BA/BS degree in government relations, political science.
