We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Media Strategy Manager to join our Global Media Team, responsible for media strategy and stewardship of US Public Affairs marketing campaigns. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for development of audience-first media strategies and thought leadership to deliver business goals related to Public Affairs. This will require critically influencing marketing strategy and go-to-market approaches for US Public Affairs Marketing initiatives. They will partner with internal partners and stakeholders across Brand Management, Decision Science, Market Insights, Creative X, Policy and Communications, as well as with external media agency partners, to design tailored media strategies that create impact and drive business results. The right candidate is keenly interested in analyzing and leveraging audience, channel, and marketplace insights to design the role of media in communication plans and effective and innovative media strategies throughout the marketing process. They will be expected to build strong partnerships, design regular forums for collaboration and work effectively in a matrixed organizational model.

Media Strategy Manager (Public Affairs Marketing) Responsibilities:
- Develop data-informed media strategies using audience, channel, campaign, and marketplace insights, to drive innovation and business outcomes for Public Affairs Marketing.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic analysis to identify growth opportunities and influence go-to-market approaches for Policy Elite audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated and impactful work anchored in objectives, insights, and best practices.
- Drive budget planning recommendations to stakeholders and marketing leadership based on outcome-based evaluation, marketplace conditions and consumer trends to optimize media investments.
- Define comprehensive media strategy briefs, including campaign parameters, audience and channel strategies, and learning priorities.
- Develop and integrate a deep understanding of the Public Affairs media landscape, including audience insights, new trends, and emerging platforms.
- Analyze historical learnings, campaign performance, and business needs to evaluate effectiveness of existing strategies and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Enable connections between cross-functional teams and lead communications on Public Affairs priorities for Media to internal teams, agency, and marketing leadership.
- 8+ years of experience in managing large-scale public affairs and/or consumer campaigns, with a proven track record of delivering positive business results.
- Proven media strategy and communication skills, with the experience to influence key stakeholders and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven knowledge of the public affairs media landscape, including traditional and digital media channels, platforms, and emerging trends.
- Proven experience to extract actionable insights from multiple data sources and develop measurement, learning, and optimization roadmaps.
- Proven track record in identifying opportunities for innovation and growth within media.
- Proven project management and organizational skills, with the experience to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership experience and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience at or with media agency partners.

$150,000/year to $211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
