Meta is seeking an experienced marketing/sales leader with demonstrated success managing established and emerging business categories. The Head of Industry will lead the Meta monetization strategy for a designated vertical in the US, leveraging their expertise to drive growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for clients and teams. Head of Industry, Specialty & Disruptors Responsibilities:

  • Play the lead role in developing the Specialty Retail/Disruptors vertical at Meta
  • Architect strategies to grow the category, working closely with In-Market teams, Business Operations, Measurement, Solutions Engineering, and Product Marketing
  • Consult with Product, Engineering, Data Science and Product Marketing teams to shape product development in support of industry and client needs
  • Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and narratives that demonstrate the value of Meta to clients and agencies
  • Identify winning strategies and scale them throughout the vertical, region, and globally
  • Increase team effectiveness by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services for Meta
  • Build, train, and maintain a world-class, high-performing team
  • Develop operational and forecasting rigor for the team
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years marketing and sales experience
  • 12+ years experience working in the designated industry or with clients that have a similar business model
  • 8+ years digital media experience
  • 8+ years management experience
  • Demonstrated experience using data and insights to craft media and marketing strategies
  • Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of digital advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends
  • Experience presenting to C-Level executives with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into client value
  • Proven track record as a leader of change by introducing performance measures, processes, and systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advertising/Marketing experience in a traditional, brand-focused environment or sophisticated digital environment
  • Data/analytics driven marketer with experience communicating the benefit of marketing/media opportunities to brands
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies for DTC start up businesses
  • Experience forging relationships with marketing leaders and C-suite partners at brands and agencies
  • Experience managing managers

$297,000/year to $352,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
