We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join the GenAI organization as an Operations Specialist. You will be responsible for coordinating a team of project coordinators, data processors, technical writers, and human red teamers in the day to day planning and execution of safety risk assessment and mitigation efforts. This is a fast moving, changing environment, and the Operations Specialist is ultimately accountable for ensuring the smooth execution of projects and operations across multiple products. This role involves potential exposure to graphic content.
Generative AI Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Project management and process optimization of the safety program, including but not limited to: reviewing metrics of daily exercises, scheduling trainings, performance monitoring and improvement, and interview support to ensure consistency and quality across all human red teamers
- Execute task intake, triage, prioritization, scheduling, and resource allocation process
- Coordinate end-to-end task execution between clients and cross-functional team of project coordinators, data processors, technical writer, and human red teamers. This includes task readiness, trouble shooting, status tracking and reporting and responsible results handling & distribution
- Proactively surface and address opportunities for process improvements
- Monitor and optimize data quality and key performance indicators
- Work with potential exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing

- 2+ years of experience in operations coordination or a related field
- Proven experience in organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated experience to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience using data to conduct root cause analysis and inform decision making
- Demonstrated experience communicating and working effectively with a varied range of colleagues and partners, to drive impact, with experience working collaboratively with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
- Demonstrated experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive content and information with discretion
- Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office applications
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience managing time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a diverse range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with generative AI and/or red teaming concepts and practices
- Certification in operations coordination or a related field (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)

$94,000/year to $136,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
