RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work independently and drive resolution of complex issues.
  • Support SAS Fraud Management.
  • Determine root cause of technical issues using strong analytical skills.
  • Think broadly about technical issues and correlate current conditions, historical trends and issues, and general incident triage techniques to pinpoint technical issues.
  • Utilize Linux day to day and write SQL to query data.
  • Utilize an application performance monitoring tool (Introscope, AppDynamics, Dynatrace) and log aggregation tool such as Splunk.
  • Triage and solve complex issues in an enterprise production environment that includes Linux /SAS Fraud Management and Actimize.
  • Navigate file systems, modify files, search through log files, and analyze system performance to ensure stability of the production systems.
  • Create complex searches and dashboards with Splunk to identify specific issue in the applications which will help in reducing the time to fix the problem.
  • Analyze application performance using Introscope or Appdynamics to understand / analyze application performance under stress.
  • Write complex SQL queries to generate reports containing information on fraudulent transactions along with the reasons.
  • Support line of business right fraud rules using SAS or Actimize which will run incoming transactions and identify if they are fraud.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Triaging and solving complex issues in an enterprise production environment that includes Linux /SAS Fraud Management and Actimize;
  • Navigating file systems, modifying files, searching through log files, and analyzing system performance to ensure stability of the production systems;
  • Creating complex searches and dashboards with Splunk to identify specific issue in the applications which will help in reducing the time to fix the problem;
  • Analyzing application performance using Introscope or Appdynamics to understand/analyze application performance under stress;
  • Writing complex SQL queries to generate reports containing information on fraudulent transactions along with the reasons; and,
  • Supporting line of business right fraud rules using SAS or Actimize which will run incoming transactions and identify if they are fraud.
