RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct stock research, formulate opinion, and communicate investment ideas/thesis through company and industry reports.
  • Write industry initiating coverage reports on recent IPOs and companies not under Bank of America coverage.
  • Perform financial modelling and valuation.
  • Identify key KPIs, emerging trends and relevant industry updates to provide an overview and conclude investment thesis.
  • Develop industry data tracking tools and databases integral to BofA research product.
  • Attend meetings and pitch stock ideas to analysts and portfolio managers.
  • Assess global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical factors influencing investment decisions and stock performance.
  • Utilize industry expertise in building and maintaining industry and financial models, conducting valuation analyses, and writing comprehensive research reports.
  • Analyze several data sets and financial statements and utilize Bloomberg, Sensor Tower and other relevant sources including eMarketer, Visible Alpha, and BamSec to collect and analyze industry data.
  • Review industry sectors covered including Digital Media, Ad-tech, and Online Real Estate.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, or related; and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Assessing global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical factors influencing investment decisions and stock performance;
  • Utilizing industry expertise in building and maintaining industry and financial models, conducting valuation analyses, and writing comprehensive research reports;
  • Analyzing several data sets and financial statements and utilizing Bloomberg, Sensor Tower and other relevant sources including eMarketer, Visible Alpha, and BamSec to collect and analyze industry data; and,
  • Reviewing industry sectors covered including Digital Media, Ad-tech, and Online Real Estate.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$200,000.00 - $210,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
