Job Description:

Associate at this level is responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with the designated Originations team in support of the line of business. This includes ongoing interaction with clients and business partners to support achievement of team goals, client retention and satisfaction, risk mitigation and revenue growth.

  • Performs client/prospect/industry sector research
  • Drafts proposal letters and term sheets
  • Develops pitch books
  • Provides systems support to designated Originations team
  • General liaison with clients/bankers
  • Processes awarded deals through internal system and monitors to ensure expeditious underwriting, documentation and funding of transactions.
  • Acts in the capacity of a program manager for the processing of periodic funding under master lease lines or tranche funding's.
  • Partners with internal team members to assist with Know Your Customer onboarding.

Required Skills: "Must" have these skills to be minimally qualified

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry with responsibility for processing and closing equipment financing transactions. Experience in leasing and secured lending products/solutions preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of leasing and secured lending products/solutions
  • General knowledge in tax accounting, GAAP accounting, asset valuation and commercial/tax/bankruptcy law
  • Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Results oriented -- ability to accomplish objectives within a specified timeframe
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Works effectively, both as a team member and independently
  • Proficiency with MS Office software applications
  • Exhibits professional maturity, strong interpersonal skills and client focus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$70,000.00 - $116,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
