The Pipeline Insights & Analytics Intern - HHDDA will have the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments and gain real world experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Working closely with assigned Manager, the Intern will be responsible for developing and communicating data-driven and actionable insights that drive greater customer and market understanding to inform launch strategies and business development opportunities for our exciting commercial pipeline. Projects will focus on areas HIV and immunology therapeutic areas.

Summer Internships will run from June 2 through August 22, 2025. Preferred location will be "hybrid" (combination of in-office and remote working). Upper Gwynedd, PA and Rahway, NJ are the in-office locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand brand / commercial strategy and break down business questions into specific, tangible hypotheses and requirements to guide analysis.
- Clearly define the business question or opportunity; inform choice of appropriate analytical techniques/methodologies and solutions; develop working knowledge of relevant data and insights sources, strengths, and weaknesses to inform choices to best answer business questions.
- Develop and execute analytic plans to answer relevant business questions
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple extended project team members - such as market research, forecasting, data science, data strategy, data visualization, marketing, clinical team - as needed, to execute project(s).
- Integrate insights into a compelling story and communicate to guide the business decision at hand.

Education Minimum Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a full time MBA or Master's program. Relevant disciplines include: Biological Sciences, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Public Health, Social Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science
Required Experience and Skills:
- Candidate must be available to work full-time, on-site, for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June of 2025
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to think strategically and objectively
- Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work independently, as well as within a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to process technical information and translate clearly and concisely to broad audiences
- Solid project management and organizational skills, with an ability to work with cross-functional teams and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively
- Experience utilizing Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience in commercial analytics (market research, data analytics, business intelligence and/or forecasting)
- Facility in understanding and appropriately leveraging healthcare data and insights to inform business decisions
- Experience analyzing patient claims and/or big data
- Understanding of the external healthcare environment, commercial value chain in pharmaceutical, and/or relevant therapeutic area experience
- Professional knowledge in applied data science and analytics, familiarity with visualization, data story telling
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00 - $105,500.00
