Our Team:

You will work on Medidata's next generation of SaaS-based clinical trial management applications. Our users depend on our products to configure and manage clinical trials. We focus on the patient experience and aim to provide engaging solutions that fit into our customers SOP and operating model .

We're building our platform on top of a few core principles and technologies:

  • SaaS-based applications using Ruby, Python, Java and other object-oriented languages
  • Single page application technologies using React.js
  • Data intense workflows using PostgresSQL, MySQL or similar relational data stores
  • Enterprise-class APIs patterns and protocols with REST and GraphQL
  • Automated development and testing harnesses using Travis, GoCD and cypress.io
  • Cloud-native infrastructure and deployment services

The Rave CTMS platform provides efficient monitoring of clinical studies with integrated workflows. It improves the Contract Research Associate experience, aids proactive decision-making, and reduces risk and costs, to increase study performance, patient safety, and time to market for the drug/device. Put another way, it's saving lives. This product is used by over 1,000 pharmaceutical companies, biotech, medical device firms, academic medical centres and contract research organisations around the world.

Who we're looking for:

  • Your Competencies:

    • Can demonstrate command and control of meetings. Have total respect and confidence from the team at all levels and is effective at doing so
    • Can construct presentation material, and deliver it, to audiences of any level. Communicate considerately, in a mature and controlled manner (both verbally and written)
    • Full accountability for release planning: management of project timelines, scope and milestones for one or more projects. Manage the complete Software Development Lifecycle
    • Ensure that the Product Team meets schedule, scope, resource/cost, and quality targets using the Agile/Scrum SDLC
    • Responsible for product release coordination.
    • Responsible for Risk Management. Anticipate and manage risks, publish a product team risk register, and offer creative solutions
    • Perform Scrum Master functions: schedules and lead the release planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming and daily scrum activities
    • Perform metrics-driven release tracking, Team performance, and Product Quality Reporting
    • Lead product teams in adopting Agile / Scrum methodology via training and coaching.

    Your Education & Experience:

    • Previous project experience managing technology intense application projects.
    • Background in applying rigorous project management practices
    • A history of delivering commercial software products, on-budget with the agreed-upon scope
    • Experience implementing large-scale systems
    • PMI certification (for example, PMP or PMI ACP, or PRINCE 2)
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
    • Background in a regulated environment
    • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum SDLC required
    • Proficiency with Jira Agile, Confluence, GoogleDocs
    • Experience managing release planning till release deployment
