This position is based in Temple, TX, which will require the candidate to report and work from the office on a regular basis. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute commute to Temple, TX.

The Retail Credit Manager will review all new Retail Customer accounts; Setup and maintenance of EBS Retail customer records (master data); Monitoring Customer payment performance and creditworthiness.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Optimize cash flow though screening & structure of Accounts Receivable.
  • Develop and monitor Credit related KPIs to enable proactive actions and manage customer risk.
  • Lead and train others in the Credit Culture at McLane.
  • Partner closely with Division Accounting and Centralized Accounts Receivable Payment Processing.
  • Partner with and advise the Retail Sales Team on prospective business partners.
  • Represent McLane in bankruptcy committees to enable fair resolution for creditors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Five or more years of progressively increasing financial and credit management experience.
  • Financial and customer credit analysis experience.
  • Commercial lending, banking, and credit structure experience, preferred.
  • Strong experience and skills with data management and Microsoft Excel advance capabilities.
  • Knowledge of advanced financial modeling techniques.
  • Ability to review and interpret data, transactions, processes, and business practices.
  • Effective use PowerPoint and other presentation tools to provide clarity and enable business decisions.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all leadership levels.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment.
  • CPA, CGMA, CMA, or Data Analysis certification, preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.
  • Travel up to 5%.
