The Opportunity:

As the Project Analyst, you will contribute to the alignment between Global Product Brand Teams and other commercial functions through regional planning initiatives within Mattel to drive business growth.

This role will be a critical member of the team to assess business metrics, identify patterns & provide insights into how we can positively influence the business portfolio.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Develop and maintain forecasting models throughout the product lifecycle/planning cycle to analyze key business metrics such as productivity, launch quantity, demand variance, and more.
  • Harness data and analytics to provide demand forecasting that supports the commercialization of new product launches.
  • Collaborate with global planning functions based on project needs, ensuring timely alignment of project schedules.
  • Partner with teams to understand the business challenges & or opportunities and help drive alignment across the teams.
  • Identify operational gaps and opportunities through Portfolio Management initiatives.
  • Support strategic projects as required by the Portfolio Management Team.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (business, finance, economics).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, data analytics, or management consulting.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of analytics tools (Tableau, SQL, R/Python, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
