Sr. Learning Experience Designer

Overview:
The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for designing and developing creating engaging and effective learning experiences, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning modules, websites, and other resources. The ideal candidate possesses excellent learning experience design skills and the ability to execute multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Role:
Learning Journey Design:

Collaborate with Program Managers and the Director to envision and design comprehensive learning journeys that align with strategic objectives.

Develop engaging and effective learning experiences that meet identified needs and deliver measurable outcomes.

Ensure learning journeys are holistic, integrating various modalities (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning, peer-to-peer, hand-on-projects) to create a seamless learning experience.

Content Development:

Lead the development of learning materials, including ILT, e-learning modules, websites, job aids, and other resources.

Utilize best practices in instructional design to create high-quality, impactful learning content.

Continuously refine and update learning materials based on feedback and evolving organizational needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with Program Managers to understand program requirements, timelines, and strategic outcomes.

Engage with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.

Provide updates and communicate progress to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

Project Management:

Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality learning materials.

Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines and deliverables.

Quality Assurance and Improvement:

Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all learning materials meet established standards and specifications.

Collect and analyze feedback on learning experiences, using insights to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging best practices in learning experience design.

All About You:

Prior proven experience in learning experience design and development, with a strong portfolio of diverse learning materials.

Experience working collaboratively with Program Managers and senior L&D leaders.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and LMS platforms.

Strong design skills with proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Ability to use web development tools and platforms to create engaging learning sites.
