To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Lead BizOps Engineer in Mastercard Setting Program in Pune location.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments
through validation and operational gating, and lead Mastercard in DevOps automation and
best practices.
- Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting,
capacity planning and launch reviews and maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
- Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by
pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Minimizes application development costs by providing guidance and leadership to
application development teams and ensuring sound execution throughout the system
development life cycle.
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services-from inception and design,
through deployment, operation and refinement.
- Analyse ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
- Must have strong hands-on experience in configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible), CI/CD tools and Scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Shell etc.).
- Must have sound knowledge of supporting java-based applications running on PCF, AWS, or any similar cloud platform and must have exposure to monitoring tools (like Splunk & Dynatrace.). Must have strong SQL knowledge and with exposure working on Oracle or Postgres Database. Good to have some knowledge of supporting applications using any messaging platform (Axon, Broker, Kafka etc.)
- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.
-Fast Troubleshooting skills needed.
-Strong ITSM knowledge is preferred.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills is preferred.
-Should be a fast learner and motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior resources
