Mastercard Checkout Services focuses on making payments simpler, more efficient, and more secure. We are building highly scalable digital payment experiences through our products such as Click to Pay, Secure Card on File Tokenization and Token Authentication Service.

With Click to Pay, our vision is to enable Click to Pay as a core card benefit across all issued cards worldwide, and enable secure and seamless guest checkout experiences. This director of product innovation will be part of Mastercard Checkout Services team, and shape Click to Pay product strategic roadmap and bring innovative solutions to life towards scaling Mastercard Checkout Services. He/she will also serve as a tech thought leader who can help to bridge the gaps between product strategy and technical execution, ensuring that our product offerings align with customer needs, business goals, and future scalability. This role involves both hands-on technical architecture design and high-level strategic product management.

Role
• Lead product discovery initiatives, exploring new technologies, use cases, trends, and market opportunities that will contribute to the evolution of Click to Pay long-term product strategy.
• Manage proofs of concept, pilots and early production implementations to ensure appropriate solution functionality, quality and performance. Establish technical and operational readiness to support scale deployments (e.g. technical documentation, test plans, customer support, delivery processes).
• Advocate for a product-centric mindset, ensuring that technical decisions prioritize user experience, scalability, and business growth.
• Act as the technical liaison between product management, engineering, and design teams to ensure coherent communication and execution of product plans.
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize features, define technical requirements, and establish timelines while balancing resource constraints.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends that could influence the product's direction and improve its architecture.

All About You
• 8+ years' experience with digital payments solutions product development, or technology consultant. Minimum 2 years of architect experience.
• Robust understanding of the payments industry, digital payments and security highly preferred
• Strong Problem solving with ability to interact with, build consensus and influence a variety of internal and external business partners and customers.
• Experience working in Agile manner, and drive efficient development with software engineering teams.
• Proven ability to work with extremely fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proven record of cross-functional collaboration skills with a strong focus on working across business, engineering, UX, and research teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication. Comfortable presenting, influencing and negotiating at senior management level, able to shift gears for audiences from different business disciplines of varying technical ability.
• Strong integrity and work ethic, holding self and others to high standards, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, fostering a positive team culture in line with Mastercard values of trust, partnership, agility and initiative.
• Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred.
