Overview:
The Talent and Organizational Effectiveness (T&OE) Center of Excellence (COE) connects our people to priceless opportunities so they can reach their potential and ensure we reach ours. We establish industry leading practices for attracting, developing, and retaining the best people, to future proof our business and support teams in delivering the best work of their careers.
The Director, Portfolio Management - Talent & Organizational Effectiveness is critical to making sure we deliver against our north star as a COE. This role will be responsible for:
Managing the portfolio of COE deliverables and rhythms in an integrated fashion.
Enabling seamless delivery and a cohesive experience for our customers (i.e., employees, people leaders, and/or people business partners).
Strengthening our Project Management and Change Management capabilities in support of delivering impactful experiences that create sustainable value.
This role will partner closely with T&OE leadership and Experience Owners (i.e., Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, etc.) and People & Capability Technology Partners to ensure we deliver on our collective 2025 priorities.
Role Scope:
• Enable the execution of COE team priorities in alignment with the P&C people strategy and priority areas, as well as broader Mastercard vision and strategy
• Support proper execution of COE priorities and initiatives by leading and managing an integrated roadmap/ plan and rhythms
• Act as the technology liaison between the T&OE COE and key stakeholders: Finance (to ensure funding of priority initiatives), Technology team (to ensure aligned prioritization and capacity), Communications (to ensure a robust go to market plan), People Analytics (to ensure proper measurement of our initiatives) etc.
• Actively track and prioritize the COE's product portfolio - establishing mechanisms to monitor progress, and identify opportunities for continual process improvement
• Lead the establishment of robust project and portfolio management capabilities across the team, inclusive of capacity management
• As needed, provides change management, and project management support in support of strategic TOE and P&C priority initiatives
Key Requirements / All about you:
• Significant direct product, project, and portfolio management experience (preferably in the people/HR space)
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of best in class project management tools supporting enterprise-wide priorities
• Experience with change management, organizational development, and project management across wide-sweeping-transformational initiatives
• Strong track record of managing and prioritizing cross functional portfolio of projects, with emphasis on go-to-market approaches (e.g., communication, engagement, implementation & delivery, and life-cycle management)
• Business acumen, with a stakeholder management mindset and the ability to collaborate across a matrixed organization, including cross-functional teams in various locations and time zones and influencing without authority at different levels of an organization
• Agile development and design thinking experience(s) a plus
Salary range:
$144,000-$230,000

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
