All of this is supported by account-based data insights and consulting to help our clients optimise their payment strategies across the world. The Open Banking team is looking to expand its product offerings on a global basis.

The Director, Europe Open Banking, Enterprise Risk Management, will be responsible for establishing the Enterprise Risk Management program and strategy for MCOBS EU. This includes, but is not limited to, leading risk identification, measurement, reporting activities, and ensuring the effective communication of key risk information to MCOBS EU Senior Management and the Board. The role will ensure that MCOBS EU adheres to Group Company Enterprise Risk Management requirements.
Role
• Establish and maintain MCOBS EU's 2nd Line Enterprise Risk Management Program, including policies, standards, risk identification approach(es), assessments, and controls.
• Work with Senior Management and the Board to define and convey the entity's risk appetite and tolerance.
• Lead initiatives to identify and evaluate strategic, operational, legal, regulatory, and financial risks.
• Understand jurisdiction regulatory requirements and work with 1st Line Risk and Compliance personnel to ensure proper identification, tracking and reporting of issues.
• Lead the development of risk reports/dashboards for Senior Management and the Board on MCOBS EU's risk program posture and activities.
• Lead and manage MCOBS EU's Enterprise Risk Assessment process, including data gathering, and the development/maintenance of risk heat maps and dashboards.
• Set up and maintain systems for continuous risk measurement and monitoring and deliver regular reporting to Senior Management, the Board and applicable committees.
• Lead strategic thinking and analysis and influence the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise risk management tools, practices, procedures.
• Support collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, including Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance functions at the local, regional, and global level.
All About You
• Extensive experience (15+ years) in Enterprise Risk Management or a related field within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Significant knowledge of Risk Management principles, practices, and methodologies, including risk assessment techniques, risk modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Strong understanding of Open Banking and regulatory requirements related to risk management, including PSD2, stress testing, and risk governance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and develop pragmatic solutions to mitigate them.
• Experience with identifying metrics for reporting, monitoring, and preparing executive level status reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience of Open Banking products would be beneficial.
