The Opportunity
As a Sales Account Coordinator supporting Worksite Voluntary Benefits, you are responsible for sales administration as well as maintaining client relationships, all while building upon your worksite insurance product knowledge. You will have a strong desire to learn, practice and apply new skills through partnering with talented, experienced sales professionals.
The Impact
The Sales Account Coordinator will provide pre-sale technical product support to clients (e.g. Benefit Brokers, Benefit Consultants, Agents and advisors) including information on product benefits, historical and current performance results , positioning , and procedural processes.

- Provide administrative and operational sales support including working with cross functional support teams to resolve issues affecting timely quote/proposal submissions
- Answer calls from producers
- Provide sales-oriented information, illustrations, and back-office support
- Inform producers and sales entities about ongoing products and communications
- Partner with External Wholesaler to develop effective business sales plans and determine action to deliver them, including contributing to the design of "point of sale" presentations , following up on open opportunities and not in good order documents
- Analyze competitor data and provide clients with competition and positioning support
- Become proficient with and effectively utilize Salesforce and other identified systems/tools.
The Minimum Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in the financial services or insurance industry
- 6+ months experience with life and health insurance products
- 1+ year experience with Microsoft products; specifically Excel
The Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ Years experience with supplemental health products, including group critical illness and accident plans
- 3+ years' sales or sales support experience in the financial services or insurance industry
- 2+ years' experience with group and worksite insurance products, practices, trends and information affecting the business and organization
- Presentation skills - effectively conveys information in a clear and professional manner to internal and/or external individuals/groups
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with others to reach mutually beneficial solutions with both internal and external individual/groups; settles differences equitability
- Experience working with Benefits Brokers/Consultants
- Experience with Salesforce
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to potentially support the west coast
Salary Range
- 65k - 70K base range plus sales-based incentive opportunity resulting in a total target compensation package of 92-97K
