The role is responsible for providing strategic insights and recommendations for the onpremise based on detailed analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, competitive landscapes, and sales data. This role is the go-to for all on-premise reporting and analytics. It plays a crucial role in driving strategic thought leadership to support on-premise growth and profitability of our company's brands and products.
Accountabilities:
• Be the go-to person for all on-premise insights, data, reporting, and analytics while working cross-functionally to support project needs
• Become an expert in on-premise sales route to market and partner with on-premise sales leadership to optimize
• Work across multiple data sources to analyze product trends, emerging segments, consumer preferences, and market shifts

• Turn data & insights into meaningful, impactful stories by integrating multiple data sources • Develop on-premise thought leadership that supports future growth and profitability
• Continuously improve the quality of insights, reporting, and tools for the on-premise to drive impact and efficiencies

• Volume (40%)
• Distribution (30%)

• On-premise share (15%)
Own:
• Insights presentations and sell sheets
• Management and evolution of on-premise technology solutions and processes
• 3rd party vendor management
Influence:
• Collaborate with sales on strategies tailored to portfolio, consumer, channel, or region that directly impacts the RFP process
• Collaborate with CLT to drive improvement to DDOT/execution tracking
Veto:
• This role is more about influencing decisions through insights and recommendations rather than having direct authority to veto decisions
Critical Relationships:
• National and Regional On-Premise Account Team, CLT, ELT, Shopper Marketing, Brand, Consumer Insights, Off-Premise Category Development
• Curating insights, Sell Stories/Sheets, RFP development, Sales Reporting (internal and external), Annual Business Planning, Execution tracking
Skills Needed To Be Successful:
• Preferably 6+ years of proven category insights experience in CPG industry, leveraging syndicated scan & household panel data platforms (Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, etc)
• Strong technical and data visualization skills utilizing Microsoft Office and other 3rd party software (VIP)
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills with ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload across multiple stakeholders
• PowerBI experience preferred
• Previous on-premise experience is a plus
