Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mfg/Ops Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Mfg/Ops Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Hayward, CA

Pay Range:  $35.00+ DOE

What's the Job?

• Provide key support for the management of nonconforming material (NC), RMA, and deviations to ensure timely and efficient resolution of manufacturing interruptions and/or component quality issues.
• Develop subject matter expertise in SAP workflows for RMA and NCM handling.
• Execute usage decisions for RMA in line with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to implement process improvements and resolve material or process issues.
• Promote a “Zero Defect” mentality throughout the manufacturing process.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an engineering discipline, or equivalent manufacturing experience with a demonstrated quality mindset.
• 0-3+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance supporting manufacturing in a regulated environment.
• Experience applying quality regulations and standards (e.g., 21CFR 820, ISO 13485) to actual situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting demands.
