About the Role
The Contract Video Producer/Editor is a part of the Creative Services Team (under Corporate Marketing). This individual will be working on video projects from many different departments and platforms, bringing our brand to life through the power of video.
Your Responsibilities
- Videography: Capture high-quality video content for a variety of projects, including interviews, events, employee communication, social media and more.
- Post Production/Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, incorporating graphics, sound, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and troubleshoot video equipment/software as needed.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure their vision is accurately represented in the final product.
- Digital Asset Management: Upload content to the company's digital asset management system, organizing and inputting digital media assets and appropriate metadata.
- Production Studio: Assist in the management of a production studio space, including shooting, managing equipment, and training.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in video production or completion of specialized trade courses and/or apprenticeship/certification.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in videography and video editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, etc.).
- Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and composition
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at a time.
- Must have strong communication and project management skills, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, consistency, and organization.
Your preferred qualifications
- Strong understanding of camera equipment, lighting, and sound design.
- Experience with basic motion graphics and animation.
- Experience with a project management system, such as Asana.
- Ability to travel up to 10% - 15%
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds.
