Role Summary
The Solutions Developer helps the Information Security Risk and Compliance (ISRC) group with data automation projects

Key Responsibilities
- Data analysis and Ingestion (through API calls and other queries)
- Creation of metrics driven by business / security needs
- Maintenance and Support of framework used to safeguard data
- Monitoring and maintenance of systems used to deliver, and consume, data
- Provide feedback to improve Magna's overall enterprise security
- Stay current on security trends (solutions, processes, attacks, threat-vectors...)
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- College degree or comparable work experience.
- Proficiency in Python and PHP. (Additional programming languages will be taken into account)
- Knowledge of mySQL/MariaDB environments
- Experience with RESTful web services (API)
- Web frameworks (i.e. Django, flask, bootstrap...)
- General knowledge of Cloud platforms
- Networking and CyberSecurity knowledge
- Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems
Additional Information
On-call availability and occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
Must be available to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
