About the Role
This position reports directly to the Quality Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below:
Your Responsibilities
- Perform process audits as per established schedule to verify the implementation of the appropriate control plan.
- Perform first off audits in your assigned department to ensure all required information was completed prior to the production run.
- Perform receiving inspections as required to ensure all purchased components met the established specifications.
- Assist the team in developing, revising and maintaining the work guidance instructions with respect to the approved control plan.
- Create and distribute quality alerts as needed.
- Initiate and ensure supervision is established for all required sorting activities.
Who we are looking for
- Previous experience in a leadership position would be an asset.
- Internal auditing experience in TS-16949 would be an asset.
- Knowledge of AIAG core tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, etc.
- Ability to make decisions and work with minimal supervision.
- Able to participate in continuous improvement programs and activities to ensure meeting of departmental performance objectives.
Your preferred qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Ability to work your assigned shift and support overtime including nights and weekends depending on customer requirements.
- Strong Computer skills especially with work and excel.
