As Manager, HR Systems and Projects, you will play a critical role in driving the success and effectiveness of our global HR systems and initiatives. You will plan and manage HR system projects, ensuring data integrity, superior reporting capabilities, and efficient Human Resources processes. Additionally, you will serve as a system support for different Workday functionalities, providing guidance and troubleshooting to address any system-related challenges. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing our technology to maximize HR program success and employee adoption. Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage Global HR Systems projects for Corporate, facilitating communication and ensuring collaboration across different functions to achieve objectives.
  • Serve as Workday system support, providing guidance and troubleshooting to address any system-related challenges.
  • Gather and analyze business and HR requirements in comparison to system functionality to make recommendations and implement solutions which improve efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and implement global HR policies and procedures as they pertain to HR Systems and HR data management.
  • Partner with functional and business stakeholders to understand, evaluate and improve/streamline HR system processes and services. Make recommendations and develop requirements based on system and functional knowledge.
  • Deliver training or instruction about HR Systems to Human Resources and Manager, as required.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in a Human Resources related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Systems within a progressive and fast-paced environment, preferably with Workday experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, structure, functions, and processes.
  • Proven experience in Global HR Project Management, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute projects from envisioning to implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build positive relationships in a matrix structure.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environment or Magna Operating Group/Division is strongly preferred.
