About the Role

• To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team - oriented activities in a positive working environment.
• To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.
• To follow Company policies and display conduct expected of Norplas employees as described in the Company handbook.
• Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures of Norplas to provide for a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner always and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.

Your Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop IT team members
• Document hardware processes throughout the department to conform to SOX and ITGC guidelines.
• Ensure security KPIs and helpdesk KPIs are achieved
• Escalate issues as needed to the IT manager
• Implement IT Mafact best practices
• Supervise upgrades on hardware leading change management process

Who we are looking for

• Associate degree in a related field of study or 10 years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.

Your preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of enterprise network switches
• Experience with vSphere
• Strong networking experience/background including routers, switches, WiFi, etc.,
• Microsoft products, HyperV, VMware Windows Server 2016 and above and active directory.
• Network wiring and standards.
