About the Role

Serves as one of the primary contacts for employee issues regarding policies and procedures in support of the division and the Human Resource Department. Provides guidance, counseling and problem-solving support to employees, manager, supervisors and team leaders. Primarily focus on hourly recruitment as you will play a pivotal role in attracting, selecting and onboarding top-tier talent to support our workforce.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for hourly positions in the manufacturing sector.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify the best fit for various roles within the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a timely and efficient recruitment process.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and industry networks, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and conduct on-site interviews, facility tours, and job previews for potential candidates.
  • Conduct new employee orientations to review group benefits, retirement programs, Employee Charter and Constitution, company policy and procedures, and all other company related information.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to develop and enhance onboarding programs tailored to manufacturing employees.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with PeopleSoft and/or ADP is required.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State labor and employment law.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist with demonstrated responsibilities in payroll, compensation, benefits, problem solving and employee relations.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Experience working in a TS16949 Quality System
