The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 27th and concludes on August 1st. All internships are paid opportunities All internships are paid opportunities. This role has potential for conversion into an Operations Supervisor full-time role for those that successfully complete the internship and required education. And qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.

Pro Fulfillment Center (PFC) Operations Internship
Lowe's has established Pro Fulfillment Centers to enhance convenience and reliability in deliveries. These centers allow associates to focus on servicing Pro Customers while freeing up store deliveries. The Pro Fulfillment Network is a strategic team that focuses on efficiently managing capacity to ensure Lowe's is delivering exceptional service to our customers, especially the Pro Customer.

The Delivery Capacity and Service Time Analysis Project will focus on maximizing delivery capacity while ensuring efficient asset utilization by accurately estimating service times, Lowe's can enhance its overall logistics and delivery operations.

Areas of learning

  • Analysis of capacity utilization
  • Analysis of ideal service time per stop to include stops with services tied to them (i.e. boom and scatter)
  • Provide recommendations on optimizing capacity utilization including best practices documentation

Education and/or Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management or related field from an accredited university with expected graduation dates of December 2025 or May 2026
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
  • Time study experience
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with others
  • Perform detail-oriented tasks in a stressful fast-paced working environment
  • Proven record for complying with safety requirements, and ability to build a culture of safety among subordinates and peers
  • Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
